Social Circles

2023, single channel video with stereo sound, 15min36sec

This piece explores the unique dynamics and forms of communication that arise from the difficulty of mutual understanding. While social connections formed through interactions with friends and family have expanded globally with the spread of social media, dialogue with others has simultaneously become more complex. Through the film's poetic approach, I hope to offer a starting point for reflecting on the elusive nature of "the other" and "the self," as well as the fragile relationships and communications that bind us.
